Soul Eater Tale of the Shattered Dark Meister

Walking through Death City at night, Derek Yumuca wondered why he was even here. Two months in the school year, his sister and baby brother had weapons. They always thought that he would be the first, but he wasn't and now he was regulated to book work when everybody went out to get training. But after what Alyaza did to his pride, he surprised that he hadn't broke completely. 'To strong for that.' he thought as approached his apartment building. Taking the stairs two at time, he passed the sounds of people doing who knows what. "Aigh't that freakin' special. Lucky freakin' them." he grumbled softly. Entering and slamming his door, Derek dropped his back pack and flopped down on the battered futon. Opening his cell and seeing texts from his siblings, their weapons, and their other halves. 'Screw'em.' he thought dejectedly, as he placed the cell on the table and rolled to his side. Closing his eyes, while curling up, Derek wondered if this was hell. After a few minutes of laying there, he fell to sleep.

The next day Derek skipped school and stayed in the city. Wearing a zipped up hoodie and a worn outfit, he melded in the crowd. Drifting through it, he wind shopped in downtown; looking at over priced items and wishing that he had a few them. 'Whatever. I'll live.' he thought with a sigh. Stopping in front of shop and saw nice pair of tonfas. Minutes he came of the shop with tonfas in a bag over his shoulder, 'Not for being slightly over priced.' he thought, before feeling a tingle run up his back. Taking a ingrained look around, he noticed three women paying way to much attention to him. Ducking into the crowd, Derek heads back towards the school. But minutes later they had cornered in an alley. 'Shit, shit, triple shit.' he thought while simutantious cursing his lack of having a weapon. 'I'm so screwed.'
